One of the best Indian meals I've had. Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. Came with 2 other people and we had the Samosas, Paneer Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken (x2), and Garlic Naan. Everyone enjoyed the food and the Service was good as well. The medium spiced butter chicken turned out to be too much for one of our group and the waitress offered to take it back and remake it, which was appreciated although we didn't take her up on the offer. The restaurant interior is pretty plain, but very clean and looked new. Will definitely return when I'm back in town.

Had lunch with the family at Rana Indian Restaurant at Cedar Park. We got seated immediately, it was relatively empty. The restaurant is located in a shopping complex and has plenty of parking. We tried the Butter Chicken, Lachha paratha, Tandoori Roti and Chai. And Paneer paratha for the kiddo. Butter Chicken was really good, chicken was cooked just right. We had medium spicy but honestly it wasn't spicy at all and the kiddo enjoyed it as well. Paneer paratha was good too, kiddo ate it happily. It can get a little dry by itself so you might want a side of yogurt. Masala chai was good too.

Delicious food and great service! It was a little spicy for me but I didn't mind plus they gave us extra water bottles. Really enjoyed the Samosa Chaat and would highly recommend you get an order of that. Butter Chicken was great too.

A pretty nice restaurant serving Indian cuisine. My friend recommended this place and I must say I wasn't disappointed. There is ample parking and the place is clean. It even has table service. I ordered the Tikka Masala with lamb. I was asked my spice level and I chose medium. I probably could have gotten the spicy but I prefer to enjoy the flavor over the spice level. There was lots of lamb, so no skimping. I also had the garlic Naan and rice. As usual, it all worked together perfectly. Thank you Rana for the hospitality and Madi for the suggestion.

Rana offers authentic North Indian / Punjabi food, a rare find in Austin which has a South Indian dominated food scene. The restaurant has a hole in the wall feel - I have only eaten in once and primarily do takeout. The items are hit or miss, hence 4/5 stars. The vegetarian dishes are typically much tastier than the non vegetarian options. I enjoy the parathas, malai kofta, and navratan korma. They also make a pretty epic vegetable biryani. Worth a try.

This place has the best Indian food in town. It's authentic and I've been looking for a place like this as soon as I've moved here. So thankful to have this so close to us! My absolute favorites are the paneer tikka masala and veg biryani

We went for lunch this past Saturday for the second time, and it was amazing. We were immediately greeted by not only delicious smells from the kitchen, but also from the super friendly and kind staff members. We ordered garlic naan, butter chicken, a mango lassi, chicken biryani, and vegetable samosas. We got the samosas first, and they were piping hot and flavorful. The tamarind and mint chutneys were also tasty! All of our main courses were also absolutely fantastic as well. The butter chicken was rich, luscious, and creamy. The garlic naan was pillowy with a wonderful chew. The biryani was super flavorful and satisfying. The mango lassi was a delicious treat on a hot day! All throughout the meal, waitstaff checked on us and made sure we were enjoying everything. The passion the staff had for the service and food was truly wonderful, and I hope this business continues to grow. Please go check this place out! It's delicious.

Another favorite stop in the Cedar Park area. Quality is still top notch, and we always end up with a doggie bag for later - so you get a goodly amount to eat. As another reviewer mentioned, the samosas are really stellar, did remember to take a picture before they disappeared. As always, they ask what spice level for each dish, and then check back to make sure it's all OK. Only negative - it's not closer to where we live

After eating at Rana, I am feeling so incredibly lucky that they have opened in Cedar Park. I couldn't even stop eating to take photos because each dish was that good. I started with the dahl soup which was light and refreshing. It was clear that it had been simmering for some time vs places who whip it together real quick...the taste is easily distinguishable. It was also a beautiful dish where you can actually see each spice and peice of veg. All the dishes were (even with Take Away). I also tried the samosa which I absolutely loved. The filling was the perfect spice and was very flavorful and the pastry was perfect. The Aloo mutter had me swaying in my seat. Definitely my fav. The veg was fresh and plentiful. The chicken Tikka Masala and butter chicken were also amazing. Spice options are clear and were exactly as ordered. The Roti was also yummy. I doubt you could get anything here that was not absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. This is my new go to for Indian food in Austin.
